NEW DELHI: Canada’s Research in Motion, the maker of the popular BlackBerry cellphone, on Tuesday said it would meet the Indian government deadline of January 31 to provide a ‘final solution’ for lawful interception of services offered on its handsets.
“There will be no ban on BlackBerry services. We are a long-term player in India,” the handset maker’s vice-president, industry, Government and University Relations, Robert E Crow told ET.
