In Australia the government, which has not yet passed any censorship laws in parliament, has already got a blacklist of sites they intend to ban. This list, in spite of their protestations that their censorship policy is for the protection of children, includes many that are merely anti-censorship or anti-government. Of course, to anyone who is acquainted with Socialism it is obvious that the government's true aim is not protection of children by stopping pornography but control. Control of the population and of what the population thinks, does and sees is the mainstay of the Socialist ideology. Coercion is and has always been the method of Socialist control. Big Brother is alive and well and living in Australia. Of course the precept of blocked sites not being publicized and no reasons having to be given to anybody for such blockages removes totally any transparency of this governments' hidden agenda.
